Rental Policy

CAR RENTAL POLICY

REQUIREMENTS AND AGE LIMITS

Vehicles are available for drivers over 25 years old. Other drivers aged from 21 to 25 years old can be added with an additional payment. Unfortunately, we do not rent any cars for drivers under 21 years old.

All clients must be physically present during the preparation process of the documents and the car rental. Unfortunately, we do not allow the participation of the third party for car pick up. Our staff would have to personally provide our clients with their car keys.

INTERNATIONAL RENTERS

Cars are available to foreign citizens with a valid passport and driver’s license of their country. We can arrange insurance documents for foreign visitors who are planning on renting for more than two days. Please note that foreign visitors who do not have the insurance documents, would have to make a higher security deposit of $ 1,000 – $ 25,000, depending on the vehicle.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

Every lessee must leave a security deposit in a written form of a deposit cheque, cash or credit card. In case of any damages when returning the vehicle to the company an extra charge will apply from the security deposit. The amount of the deposit is going to vary depending on the value of the rented vehicle and its type of insurance documents. The approximate price is $ 1,000 – $ 25,000.

This deposit is fully refundable upon completion of the lease. If you are using an American Express for your deposit, then it must be passed through the status of an “AUTHORIZATION ONLY” (not the actual payment). If you are using Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card, the deposit is deducted from the card, and you will be issued a full refund at the lease termination.

WEATHER

We cannot provide you with the refund or change of the date of the lease during the unexpected weather conditions. However, we are flexible in case of the unpredictable weather conditions or natural disasters such as hurricanes, flooding, tornadoes or other extreme conditions that make driving unsafe. Our policy on these exceptions during these cases primarily refers to the time of receipt / return of the car, and not for the entire period of the lease.

PAYMENT RECEIPTS

Renters are responsible for parking, speeding, or other traffic violations during the rental of the vehicle and must pay every applied fees, fines, payment of towing, or other costs for the road violation.

REFUNDS

If a guest cancels there rental car reservation within 24 hours prior to pick up then we issue 100% full refund. Any cancellation made  within 24 hours prior to vehicle pick up no refund is made.

If a guest cancels a vacation unit reservation within 14 days then they get 100% Refund but if they cancel up to 7 days of check in they get 50% Refund and if they cancel within 7 days of check in then they get no refund. 

We do not offer refunds on car rentals or vacation homes and gift certificates after the rental ends. 


ADDITIONAL DRIVERS

Additional drivers must be listed on your rental agreement for an FREE. Each additional driver must be presented at the time of a car rental and submit in advance their driver’s license and age limitations.

DELIVERY / PICK UP OF A CAR

You can choose to receive / return the car in our office or at the airport or anywhere else at your convenience for a minimal free. We also provide the storage of your vehicles at our parking lots for free. Doorstep delivery of the vehicles is also available for a minimal cost depending on the distance of your destination.

Please note: All of the dates of receipt / return of cars must be confirmed in advance, at least 24 hours to ensure the provision of services on time.

PAYMENT METHODS

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discovery are the recommended methods of payment for both, rental and the security deposit. In some cases, checks or cash can be accepted, if arranged in advance. Personal and business checks are not accepted.

FUEL AND FEES

Cars are delivered to our clients with the full tank, and must be also returned with the full. We charge $ 9 per gallon for refueling.

MILEAGE

We offer unlimited Mileage to all our rentals

DRIVING PLACES

Cars that were rented at our office in Memphis cannot be used outside of the State of  Tennessee without any prior written consent unless its near a neighboring State such as Mississippi or Arkansas.

LEASE TIME

We are very flexible with the time when you return the car.

We do not apply that 2 days rental is precisely 48 hours. But since we have established a particular time for the return, we must follow and respect it.

We are offering an additional hour at no charge from the scheduled time of the return, then you will be charged with an additional daily amount for the rent.

 

PROHIBITED USE

Our rental vehicles cannot be used in the following cases:

  1. If a person is driving without their driver’s license
  2. If any illegal purpose or any other illegal activity is involved
  3. To transport people for money or for self profit
  4. For towing or pushing any heavy objects
  5. For violation of existing speeding limitations
  6. For any speeding tests or high-speed competition, race, rally, and endurance races, or demonstrations.
  7. For educating someone to drive
  8. At any unpaved surfaces

In case of violation of those prohibited restrictions, we reserve the right to terminate the lease of your agreement and to legally return the vehicle to our company. The renter is at risk of losing their entire security deposit.

INSURANCE

All renters must take a full responsibility for any damages in case of a car accident.

You have the following options:

If you own an American Express card – you will be offered their program called “PREMIUM CAR RENTAL PROTECTION”.

It is available directly from an American Express services and provides a full coverage for any rental vehicles. This is a great option because it can be purchased in addition to the basic insurance policy and it will provide you with an additional level of protection.

CANCELLATION POLICY

When you book your car, we will check your credit card for the full amount of your rental, however, you will not be charged until you will be provided with your vehicle.

Since we have a limited number of rental cars, we are on a very tight schedule. We offer a 24-hour time period after booking to make any changes or cancellations (if rent is not less than 24 hrs), followed by the cancellation fee of 50 percent of the total rent or $ 500.

If you cancel or transfer at least 24hours prior the lease you will be charged with the full cost of the cancellation.

VACATION RENTAL POLICY

We are located in a residential community and, although this is a holiday destination, it’s home to many people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between the hours of 10pm and 8am noise should be kept to a minimum.
We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything please let us know immediately – if it’s minor we usually won’t charge. If it’s a larger issue (e.g. the TV screen!) we would like to agree the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later. Thank you!

This is a smoke-free home. There is lots of space outside for you to enjoy your smoking needs!

We love animals but we have to charge a fee to clean it after each guest that comes with a furry friend due to possible allergies of the next guest.


Cancellation policy
Firm: Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.

SCOOTER RENTAL POLICY

Reservations and Confirmations Policy

We recommend making your reservation at least 24 hours prior to rental date.

Please have a photo ID and credit card to be used for the deposit.

Your credit card is charged when you submit your reservation. Cancellations within the cancellation policy will be refunded accordingly. No shows and cancellations outside of the cancellation window will not be refunded.

 

Cancellation policy

Cancellations made prior to 24 hours of reservation date are fully refunded. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the reservation date are charged 50% of the rental or tour price. Reservation no shows are charged in full, and considered non-refundable. If a reservation date is changed from its original date, the changed reservation no longer qualifies for cancellation, is charged in full, and is considered non-refundable.  Reservation no shows are charged in full, and considered non-refundable.

Security Deposit Policy 

For all rentals we require an ID and credit card as a security deposit.

Alcohol and Drug Use

Our scooters are considered a motor vehicle and must abide by all traffic laws while in operation. No drug or alcohol use is prohibited before or during the use of our scooters.
